Shipping
Bab products can be shipped nationally and internationally, and prices to our most commonly requested destinations are listed below. If you'd like an estimate of shipping costs to a destination not listed before ordering, please get in touch.
Please note all our packaging materials are repurposed, as part of my commitment to minimising waste. Like most of us, I love the look of branded packaging, but after doing my research I couldn’t come to terms with the additional impact of these materials on the environment and our human future. This means that while anything you buy from Bab will always be securely packaged, my parcels don’t always look as beautiful on the outside as they do on the inside.
If you’re sending something for a special occasion and would like the packaging to reflect this, you have the option to pay a small charge for gift wrapping and a special message. I try to use recycled materials for this service whenever possible, such as tissue paper and fabric scraps, but rest assured these will always be in excellent condition.
Within the UK: For orders under £90, parcels are posted Royal Mail 1st class Signed for at £4.50 per order and £1 extra per additonal item. Gift vouchers are sent Royal Mail 1st class, at 85p per voucher. Shipping is free for orders over £90 using code FREEPOST90+ at checkout.
USA: UPS delivery is charged at £18 + £3 per item.
Mainland Europe: DHL Express is charged at £10 + £2 per item.
For all orders shipped outside of the UK, the customer will be responsible for any taxes or customs duties incurred. As customs, duties and taxes vary widely from country to country, we advise you contact your local customs agency for details on estimated costs before you purchase. We have no control over these amounts and will not be held liable. Unfortunately, we are unable to mark the parcels as ‘gift’ or ‘no commercial value’.
Returns
Custom orders and orders made using fabric provided by the customer cannot be refunded.
If you purchase a Bab special or one of the items that comes in limited fabrics (i.e. the DIY trousers, shacket, or pinafore dress) and find that it wasn’t quite what you were expecting, please get in touch as soon as possible (and within 7 days of receiving the order at the latest). Unworn, unwashed, and otherwise unsullied items will be accepted for exchange or refund, with the purchaser bearing the return postage costs. Please ensure you use a secure method of sending and that you retain proof of postage until I have contacted you to let you know the item has arrived back safely.
